I am excited to announce the opening of Om Shanti Healing at 150 W. Vermont in downtown Southern Pines. This space is designed to provide individual sound healing in a private setting, which will also include private yoga instruction, meditation and reiki. Group sound baths will be offered frequently through pop-ups and local venues.

My Story…Why Sound Healing?

Sound healing was new to me until last year when I participated in several sound baths while visiting the California desert. I immediately fell in love with the soothing benefits of the vibrational sounds, and the deep state of relaxation. This healing experience intrigued me and I wanted to learn more. I entered a training program with the talented Satya Brat, through International Academy of Sound Healing. Under his instruction, I learned about the science and philosophy of sound healing and the therapeutic approach to customized, individual sound guide meditation.

Manifestation...

The stars aligned for me when a cozy space on Vermont Avenue became available and I decided to follow my instincts and use my training to offer sound therapy as an additional healing modality to my yoga training and meditation practice.

Om Shanti and the Seed of Life...

Om Shanti has always resonated with me as the invocation of peace in the body, word and mind. Our subtle body is our energetic body. The subtle body holds imbalances that can eventually manifest in our physical bodies, which is why it’s important to look at healing and balance not only from a physical perspective but, as a complete holistic experience that includes mind, body and spirit.

The Seed of Life symbol represents creation, manifestation, and wholeness. The Seed of Life’s sacred geometry is composed of seven overlapping circles. The number seven channels the powers of the universe and vibrates with the energies of spiritual awakening, which represents cycles of infinite possibilities.

My desire is to share this space with our community and provide a therapeutic environment to heal yourself through sound, yoga, reiki and meditation.
